Even after a devastating accident, freedom from pain is obtainable.

Back pain was only a small component of the problems that a vehicular accident caused for Casimiro “Casey” DiSalvo, Jr.

“I’m the survivor of a hit-and-run that left me with severe trauma to my lower back,” he explains. “I was completely run over, from my head to the tips of my toes, which caused organ damage, muscle trauma, nerve trauma and spinal damage.”

Severe physical injuries can lead to the need for pain medication. Unfortunately, side effects from these drugs can cause their continued use to be untenable. Such was the situation for Casey.

“I took pain medication for about fourteen years, and it got to the point where I couldn’t take it anymore,” he reports. “So I was actually off medication but I was tired of suffering in pain.”
